to create an installation/exhibition as part of vienna design week 09. titled 'urban gardening'
the show aims to direct the general public to be involved in recycling and encourages
people to get involved in gardening within their local community.
the duo designed 100 limited edition freitag compost bags for the installation. each were
given to guests on the opening night, granted that they would return to the gallery with
their compost and place it in the compost bin within 3 months.
the freitag brothers specially prepared a soup for guests on opening night, using their
food scraps to start the compost bin.
