De Stijl is an art movement occurred in Holland 1917. The theory and thinking had influenced the modern design until now. For the moment, art,architecture and design in China are also in a fast-moving phase. One of them is furniture design. The R-B chair uses the shape of traditional chinese "Circle" chair and interprets by the design language and the meaning of "De Stilj". From the new dimension, proportion and form, the design tried to make a traditional item more fit into modern daily life and at the same time portrayed a new chinese furniture design age.
