this is a tea set with unusual handles I designed and crafted using slip-casting. the form was inspired by the practice of glass blowing and captured the pulling action occurred in the process. however, my friend also suggested to me that the set appeared to be "bird-like", knowing my great love for parrots or any kind of birds. the layer and organic form fits naturally and comfortably in user's hands. the set is quiet, but alive at the same time.
