‘layours’, is more a building system than a piece of furniture. its versatility allows it to have different sizes, shapes and uses, from stool to table for example. it is made out of four stainless steel legs that compress whatever material there is in between. the logic behind the piece is that any weak element can gain resistance when compressed in thicker layers. waste materials, like newspapers or remnants of wood planks can be mixed to add a level of sustainability. structural stability is achieved by adding layers of the same material.
