los-angeles based kruysman-proto (brandon kruysman + jonathan proto) have developed ‘hot networks’, an exercise which shows off the complexities and opportunities of the sci-arc robot house. it’s a collaboration of five androids, with different tools and tasks, operating as one large network. ideas of representation are embedded into the sequence, as well as material behavior, synchronous motion and tooling.
