‘the initiation and death’ by wenchuman

chilean designer wenchuman has created ‘the initiation and death’, conceived by the idea of being fooled by beauty and how its mesmerizing effects can distort reality. this series uses double sided velcro straps and rizoms to merge into different shapes of containers or bags where they are intended to wrap the user. the images evoke the selk’nam people from tierra del fuego, a culture that flourished in a place with harsh living conditions.
