michael jantzen: personal m velope retreat
the ‘personal m-velope’ by michael jantzen

american designer michael jantzen has conceived the ‘personal m-velope’ as a part of a series of functional art structures
designed to be used as a special place in which to retreat from the ordinary. the configurations range in different sizes and shapes,
made mostly using sustainably sourced wood with environmentally friendly stains or paints.

usually the structures do not need
foundations depending on specific site requirements. based on size, function, and location, they may also not need a
building permit. each unit can be prefabricated and shipped in sections that bolt together at the construction location.
