hutten studied at the academy of industrial design
eindhoven, graduating in 1991.

db: when you were a child did you always want to
become a designer?
rh: I was 'born' a designer so it wasn't a choice. I have
been making things all my life and when I was around
fifteen or sixteen I found out that this could be a
profession.
