michel rojkind is the founder of firm rojkind arquitectos based in mexico city.
the firm aims to evoke common identities through the exploration of uncharted
geometries that address questions of space, function, technology, materials, structure,
and construction methods related directly to geography, climate, and local urban
experiences.
designboom met michel rojkind at his studio on december 8th, 2009.

an ideal project?
a home for the elderly because I don't think we
have questioned enough how we end our lives.
for me it would be very depressing to be taken out of
my home, and into a retirement home, or hospital
and that's the end of your life. I'd like to create
something that helps commemorate a lifetime and
celebrates the knowledge old people have.
another area that interests me is social housing.

Fue una sorpresa verte en design boom.
Te conoci en una feria de materiales en abril del 2008 en holanda.... te acercast porque escuchaste una voz en espanol!
De hecho quedamos de vernos en amsterdam, fui a tu hotel.. pero ya habias salidos.
Aqui tengo tu tel... he ido un par de veces al DF, pero no supe si llamar.
Yo como te lo comente (y no se si te acuerdes) le di la vuelta al mundo todo el 2009, pffff! super experiencia e inspiracion.
