'vigna'

'vigna' is italian designer martino gamper's first project for furniture manufacturing company magis.
like a climbing plant, a metal-wire swirls to form the structural feature of this seating unit,
supporting the chair's legs. it is designed with double injection plastic, making it possible to have
a seating pattern in any combination of two colors.

..I find the name a little scurilous... vigna? vagina? Looks a bit retro, bit bistro....shame the 2K seat part isn't in the two colour version

I think it's an elegant and contemporary design, perfect for modern cafés and bistros. It's a lovely re-imagining of a familiar classic, without being too literal or predictable.
