'communicating vessels'

based on the concept of communicating vessels, israeli studio armadillo has recently
created a new series of ritual objects consisting of a hanukah menorah and candle sticks.
the pieces are handmade from glass applying the same technique used in the production
of glass laboratory vessels.

'hanukah menorah' is filled with water and oil. the oil floating over top of the water, creates
an effect of brightness and contrast. complimentary colours drip and dissolve into each other
as a symbol of celebration.

packaged inside a padded box with satin cushions, the 'communicating vessels' kit contains
oil ampoules, glass funnel, and an instructional brochure.
