'I am furniture' is a series of objects developed by dutch design studio vraay
which re-examines the meaning of furniture by reinterpreting it through the form of
an electrical heater. these pieces heat up electrically, using a reduced heating component.
besides reducing energy demand, the object heats up its direct surroundings which we find
ourselves in, instead of entire buildings.

the 'I am furniture' serious are made from nickel, steel and automotive paint.
most of the the individual components of each object are handmade or industrially sculptured.
