jerszy seymour: flux for magis

berlin-based jerszy seymour design workshop has designed the 'flux' chair for
italian manufacturing company, magis on show at the milan fairgrounds during design week 2010.

the 'flux' chair has subtle changes in direction. its form is like a manipulated drawing floating in air,
in which wire forms the structure. each piece is treated as an axis with unlimited directions,
liberating itself from the modernist grid. the 'flux' chair uses simple materials, a flexible manufacturing
technique and the language of a human flow of energy expressed through its shape.
