in 2006 dutch graphic studio Floortje/Fluitsma cut organic structures out of paper and reapplied it to a body, showing both the beautiful and appalling world that lies beneath our skin. today, floortje bouwkamp and nine fluitsma work on their own as independent designers.

floortje bouwkamp is currently a part of grey tones 2010, publication which showcases the collective work of designers from ten other dutch cities. the theme for this edition is ‘mycity’ and asks each participants to contribute their vision of their respective town, their scene or their own design sense. bouwkamp was responsible for the general concept resulting in the design of the index- and introductory pages, the cover and the poster and flyer.

the release of the book took place during graphic design festival breda, a bi-annual event on graphic design in the netherlands.
