ra is latest yacht created by american designer adam voorhees and the reason he was given the world
superyacht young designer of the year award. the boat aims to ‘blend luxury with comfortable living and
an appreciation of the nautical environment’ says voorhees. the layout has fewer decks than similar size
vessels with large volumes on each. luxury touches include a helipad and swimming pool at the rear
of the ship, while navigation is controlled through gesture driven interfaces. five guest rooms sit below
the owner’s suite on the upper level, while crew cabins are on the bottom level along with guest living
quarters. most notable are the drop down side panels which open up the main living level to the sea and
extend the space.
