on the 9th june 2010 the auction company pierre bergé & associés in brussels, will be selling designs from ‘soft construction without boiled beans’, these items were created for the moschino window display for the 2009 edition of the salone del mobile exhibition. moschino’s shop windows were best known for its metaphorical visions. the surreal perspectives, from theater to art to the paradoxes of existence, offered all the sensations of amazement and wonder. native from malaysia, based in milan, jo ann tan is the art director for the entire image of the moschino trademark. she never had the opportunity to get to know moschino in person (franco moschino died in 1994) but nevertheless she succeeded in creating a sense of continuity of that certain spirit in the window displays today.
