guillaume delvigne: O10

'O10'
'O10' lamp created by french designer guillaume gelvigne features a design that is reduced
to its simplest expression. when viewed from the front, the lamp forms a single line
emphasizing its minimalist form.
'O10' is one part of a greater series for newly founded design house specimen
in partnership with terres nuages. to celebrate specimen's launch during 2010 designer's days event
in paris, they will be showcasing their first collection at the terres nuages showroom.

beautiful work!
Q 06.08.10
not sure i can see what its purpose is... as a desk light? as a lamp?
Scott 06.09.10
agree with scott. what am i suppose to light up: the floor next to the table? in front of a book shelf? sadly, the communication here is not so nice.

delvigne & eschalier: leon collection
design | 07.11.11
the distinguishing characteristic of the 'leon collection' is this 'nose' seen in each of the three pieces. situated at the handling areas of the furniture, it gently finishes off the volumes with sharper ridges.
