tokujin yoshioka: 'the scent of crystal' for swarovski

'the scent of crystal'
japanese designer tokujin yoshioka has been involved in several collaborative projects
with swarovski, who has also commissioned him to come up with a concept design
for a product that symbolizes the crystal company.
rather than rearranging visual shapes, he considered designing a new concept for a
perfume bottle which affects the senses. the result is 'the scent of crystal'. here,
tokujin's design intention is to bottle a crystal within perfume and then let the crystal 'fit'
within the scent. the idea is still in the concept phase and has not been realized.
