focusing on the interface between industry and handicraft, german born, swiss based
artist laura pregger seperates the porcelain from its function and history, treating it
'only' as a material. through cutting, recombining, altering surfaces and manipulating
the function of finished and half-finished porcelain ware, her collection of bowls,
lights and vases titled 'sequences + consequences' transport daily objects into a new context.
