kartell x moschino shoes

the bowwow is the latest shoe made by the furniture company kartell in collaboration with the fashion
house moschino. the new plastic women’s shoes are flats that feature a small bow and come in a wide
range of bright colours as well as a subdued black. the design looks like a single ribbon which is wrapped
around the foot and tied off at the bow. the shoes are industrially molded much like kartell’s furniture
and are made using a 100% recyclable non-toxic thermoplastic. they will go on sale in january 2011.

I'd really wanted a pair of Kartell Glue Cindarella shoes two summers ago, pretty much just after they came out but all it took to convince me otherwise was trying them on - for a 100 euro, it felt pretty much like wearing a frog: cold and slippery, though they look great.
