wing fung ng: changeable

'changeable'

upon observing the limited living spaces in households of metropolitan cities like hong kong,
chinese-german product designer wing fung ng has developed 'changeable', a coffee table that can
be transformed very easily into a chair. in many cases, a small habitable area of just 10 sqm
has to serve as both a living room and dining room, thus, the space saving feature of
'changeable' allows users to adopt this furniture design to various occasions and purposes.

Very ugly, i cant stand it. And do you really expect people to use a laptop that way, after first insulting them by making them first unfold that painful arrangement?

this is a beautiful and surprisingly fresh design/idea! i also think it could be a great commercial success and i hope to see it produced by a company soon (you can imagine this in universities' mensas, cafes, offices, lounges - basically wherever young peole meet, eat work, etc. and of course at home, not only hk has little spave - any student's apartment worldwide has...)

I like the concept and the design. I also like the combination of wood with bright collors.

Good work!

This is not a fresh or new idea, seen alot similiar designs, just another crap like this one: http://fredrikfarg.com.cartman.kontrollpanelen.se/index.php?/work/winterfold/

seen it before, please do something new and more inspiring..

nice

Why would i buy this?? Why wouldn't I just buy a chair and a table, more useful, practical and probably cheaper! And c'mon, that laptop idea is a bit far fetched, don't you think? ;)
