a rantang is a hand-carried lunch box that has separate compartments to keep your meal from mixing together. tirtanimala’s ‘rantang collection’ includes two small containers for meat and vegetables and one big container for rice. the stacked container is held together by an oil-finished teak wood handle.

a kendi is a traditional drinking vessel with two openings: a mouth and a spout with no physical handle. the ‘modern kendi’ is filled through a hole at the base and is poured by holding the wooden neck which is held in place through a triangle locking system.
