'two leg table'

israeli industrial designers shay carmon and ben klinger have recently completed
a series of furniture designs.

corian, oak wood

appropriately titled 'two leg table', this furniture design achieves stability by increasing
the contact area between the table top and the legs which rise above the surface.

'separation shelf'

'separation shelf' is a storage unit that reflects the relationship status of couples.
in its regular state,  the shelf features a 2.5 m oak lumber with grooves every
10 cm, and four metal supporters.

here these supporters are inserted into the groves, serving both as hangers and book support.
in the case of a breakup between couples, the supporters are used as working tool which
can cut the shelf into two parts. each partner takes his/ her share.

'touching lamp'

'touching lamp', is a ceiling lamp composed of two luminous bodies. contact between
these bodies causes the light to turn on. all the lamp's parts are exposed - the electric wires
are replaced via aluminum strips embedded in the oak beams, the aluminum joints act as
conductors, and the aluminum light shade is used both as a switch as well as a reflector.
the lamp works on 12 volts which means that users can touch every part of the design
bare handed.

'leaning chair'

the only means to sit on the 'leaning chair' is in a half standing position. the seat itself
was diminished to allow for a short rest and quick stand up. the wooden legs are
given additional support through metal bracings. meanwhile, the bent-iron seat has
two cushions attached to it with a single connection.
