'bluff city light'

the work of japanese born american-based jonah takagi was featured in
designboom's 'asia now' exhibition at dwell on design in los angeles.

'bluff city light'

'bluff city lights' are pendant lamps which draw influences from paper lanterns and
bluff city, tennessee. the form consists of a copper socket, enameled steel cage and
aluminium diffusor.

'scaffold shelving'

'scaffold shelving' is a storage system made from birch plywood and dowels. the flat-pack
shelving unit is influenced by bamboo scaffolding and lincoln logs (a toy which is made up
of miniature logs in which people can build miniature homes).

'F/K/A' table lamp produced by mattermade

the 'F/K/A' table lamp, first known as the 'spun' table lamp derived some of its form from
the repurposed sauce pan that originally served as the light's shade. produced by furniture
manufacturer mattermade, the theme of versatility continues with the tripod legs that prepare
the lamp for uneven surfaces. the diffuser produces a soft glow, while the pull cord adds
a hint of nostalgia. the shade, base and electrical cord are available in a variety of colors
and finishes.
