‘a gust of wind’

alongside his presentation ‘drop’ for london design week’s ‘size + matter’ project, UK-based designer paul cocksedge will also exhibit ‘a gust of wind’ – an installation which will be shown within the victoria & albert museum (V&A) during this year’s festival.

three hundred curvaceous pieces of Corian® will be shown for one day as part of the V&A’s friday late programme on september 24th, 2010 from 18:30 – 22:00. these ‘pages’ will be distributed during the event, each representing a stack of paper that has been blown into the air by a gust of wind. the limited edition pieces are each engraved and handmade by cocksedge. they will function as paper trays becoming a place for wandering paper to gather.
