'victor' bike is a concept bicycle created by montreal based designer christophe robillard.
the design features a bent tubular frame that appears to wind continuously. the bend is
most noticeable in the back wheel, where the ends of the tube eventually connect to the
respective left and right rear axle. 'victor' is a fixed gear bike with a chain guard and
a front wheel hand brake. it is equipped with reflectors on the back fender and front tube.

Very nice. The headlamp conflicts with the cleanliness of the design, though. The color and texture look sweet.

Like the look of the bike, would be a little concerned with the torsional stresses at the rear axle - it seems to me that this would sheer very easily, unless the axle mount points are reinforced to accommodate.

Like the finish.. what is it.. ?
Darshan   08.06.10
Ilike the guy! very sexy;)

Matte black? Check.
Stylishly uncomfortable brown leather seat? Check.
Vintage whitewalls? Check.
Short black socks, dress shoes and shorts? Check!

How could designers not rally-round this nugget?
Mushi   08.06.10
The guy is really sexy.
jonhy   08.06.10
I think its great!!!
Johnnie Autard   08.06.10

franz   08.06.10
dude do u think it can with stand tat much stress in back tyre , with single rod connecting the back

Mushi,

You have obviously never sat on a Brooks bicycle saddle (http://www.brooksengland.com/en/) if you think them uncomfortable, though you are quite correct in saying that it is stylish
dextersdragon   08.06.10
Cool design but I question the structural integrity.
squid   08.06.10
tht surely shouts....HANDLE WITH CARE.. i wont b mountain biking on it for sure ! good for art museums ! ... mayb it ll work only with carbon fiber.......nice try !!!
psyKd   08.06.10
ive worked with this kind of tubes and built bikes for years. It does look perfectly structured for urban/stylish ride to me.
joe   08.06.10
This bike really seems like it could use a lefty, and yeah nix the front reflector.

But I think the bike should have plenty of strength to hold up to the urban single speed commuting demands. Just don't pull too many sideways skid stops. But even the 15mm axle shouldn't be too much of a weak point.
screechin_weasel   08.07.10
Love the design, love the finishing, love the guy. It's probably ,000 and... I'd want optimum performance for that price tag. I'd get it in a second if I could afford it though :D
-C.S.M   08.07.10
to much emphasis in matching the shoes with the seat

hello, my english is not perfect, but i try!

My question is: it's a contest of design of bikes?? then i have seen many links about bycicles in this blog.

Someday they will be put on sale?

I wait for some answer. :)

I like the simplification of the frame. How about trying a similar treatment with the front fork. Sick.
Meli   08.08.10
its beautiful! with that said, id give it a month before it breaks! shame. way too many stresses, unless that rear fender acts as some kind of brace? and takes the pressure off that rear axel?
jesse   08.08.10
Love it, want one!
Zap!   08.10.10
why are you not riding your bike? is this a walking along bike?
i like to ride my bike   08.10.10
Obviously designed by someone who knows fukk-all about the physics of cycling. The torsional deflection of this frame would make it dangerous to ride especially in traffic.

Would you fly a hang-glider where some 'designer' removed half the struts to give it a 'minimalist' look? Form - maybe; Functon - NIL.

Why no photo of the bike actually in use?
Rabs   08.12.10
so cool!
porawit   08.13.10
Most stupid bike ever!
Go back designing toilet paper rolls:)
DTC   08.13.10
why not go one step further and do a lefty fork ala cannondale?
