aaron radin: museum iPhone apps

application for london royal academy of arts

upon realizing the multi-media rich potential of iphone applications during his
own experience at new york's museum of modern art,  entrepreneur aaron radin
in partnership with sayoko knight teitelbaum founded toura. the company specializes
in smart phone applications with a focus on museum exhibitions.

according to radin, many devices used for exhibitions to date do not translate the content
of museums well. seeing opportunity in this, his company toura created a publishing
platform that has developed applications for clients such the art institute of chicago
smithsonian institute and the london royal academy of arts.

currently, radin is working to make publishing platform more of a self service tool.
in doing so, clients can customize their content while paying a fee for using toura's
publishing tool. on discussion of the future of his company, radin sees toura moving
beyond the scope of museum experiences, with interest already coming from medical
book publishers, shopping and travel sites.
