'zero G' lighting lit

korean sdesignunit in collaboration with sukwoo lee and dongjin byeon have designed 'zero G' collection
for super studio.

'zero G', meaning a state of non-gravitation, includes a lighting series that drags the shape of the lantern
from a state of weightlessness to a gravitational one. several variations can be possible in terms of form
and position, captured by the skeletal and weightless feeling and gesture of the object's wire frame.

'zero G' radio

a radio is also applied to 'zero G's' light metaphor 'shining' music instead of light as it is interpreted by the action of grabbing, gripping and holding the interface which is similar to a flashlight.

The radio looks quite similar to the one designed by Philippe Stark for Telefunken.

...the lamps well, quite similar to the Foscarini "Aplomb". http://www.foscarini.com/prodotti_dett.php?cat=9&id=122〈=it

Nothing new...

I completely desagree with Gotecki... you can't do this kind of parallel. I can say that Radio La La La by Philippe Stark is quite similar with ever megaphone in the market. Or i can say that the "Aplomb" is quite similar to the o lot of other objects.

Awe don't be a hater... These look pretty cool, and better than the links Gotecki posted =)
@JohnMHoyt   08.26.10
does the world need more lamps design? Please donīt make more trash...

well...I agree that the radio resemble a bit the one of Stark, but this one is way better than the one of our french superstar friend.
The lamps (which I think are very good, congratz) has asbolutely nothing to do with the Foscarini's ones, the shape is not what defines a project...and here we're talking about completely different products.

George Lee   08.26.10
beautiful design. Very chic!
Diego   08.26.10
The items would look a whole lot better without all of the text full of bull crap.
Just let the items and the creativity be enjoyed.
There is no need to be so intellectual about it.
Either we get it or we don't.
