tokujin yoshioka: suqqu packaging
'SUQQU' cosmetic packaging
designer tokujin yoshioka has redesigned the packaging for japanese cosmetic
brand suqqu. the product line which includes bottles and packages for items
such as foundations, compact powders, facial cream masks and much more,
will be available in september 2010.
according to yoshioka, many cosmetic packaging born from europe are infused
with decorative elements. looking at the simplicity of traditional japanese tools,
his redesigns are purposely created with a minimalist aesthetic.

the designer has experimented with forming new natural structures for which he can apply his crystallization process including sculpture and painting.
