inga sempe: trame mirror

'trame' - horizontal orientation
french designer inga sempé has created 'trame', a mirror system for french company domestic.
the mirror consists of self-adhesive PMMA strips which when arranged on a wall, measure 40 x 50 cm.
the end result gives the illusion that you are peering through slats into a private space, making one feel
a bit voyeuristic, although they may well be looking only at themselves within their own home.
the mirror will be presented at maison & objet at the domestic stand (J51) in paris from september 3rd to 7th, 2010.
