urban arrow bikes



while the dutch are known for their classic city bikes, urban arrows is a new dutch bike brand that makes an electric
transport bike designed for urban families. the urban arrows bike is the design of wytze van mansum and has
a standard back end with a modular front end that can have a large cargo area in front of the rider or be a regular
bike. the bike is powered by an electric assist that makes pedaling very easy even with up to 180kg of cargo.
the bike has an aluminum frame, while the front cargo area is made from a recyclable foam. the front cargo area
can also be covered for rainy weather or modified to become a flat-bed cargo bike.

Yeah! This style is very cool. My next "resupply" bike is probably going to be a bakfiet-inspired setup like this. I've never seen one in real life, but they look more stable than pulling a loaded trailer.

there's one good reason why no one puts extremely heavy weight-bearing items at the front of a bicycle: you lose control very easily. PLEASE put it at the back instead to make this a little more useful.

On the contrary "Everlastingz" if you look up "cargo bicycles on Wikipedia or Google "Cargo Bikes" - you will see that there are any number of bikes with the freight carried in front of the rider, rather than the back. People in Europe have been riding them for decades d;-)
