the APA birdhouse by portuguese designer luis porem tskes its name from its function abrigo para aves or shelter for birds.
porem designed the ceramic birdhouse to act as a temporary shelter for small birds. the design was created to be used
in multiple ways, attached to a wall, on a long support pole, hanging from above or on a table top of other surface.
the form is a simple cone with a large opening that is available in different colours and a small metal twig for birds to
perch on.

This design is the classic example of a designer just making something without any research. Small birds don't need a perch, and putting one helps larger birds attack the chicks or eggs when the mother is away. Also, the opening is WAY too big considering the size of the container. No wonder there are no birds in the images!

Emiliano is correct. go on the internet and find out the parameters for birdhouses - interior dimensions, distance from bottom to hole, diameter of hole, etc. varies from species to species - and no perches! unless you want starlings and sparrows. A cone shape is not good, even if the hole is made smaller and moved up because the chicks need to climb up the interior walls with their claws and if the wall slope in and are smooth they wont make it. Having said all that, try again.
