'two go' by yael livneh - 'seoul cycle design' competition shortlisted entry

'two go' by yael livneh

'two go' by yael livneh from israel is one of the shortlisted design entries from more than
3000 participants in our recent designboom competition, 'seoul cycle design 2010',
organized in collaboration with seoul design foundation.

by adding a few simple joinery parts, a used milk crate is repurposed as a second bike seat
which can also be modified to turn in to a riding basket.

designer's own words:
'these days, we all accept the fact that we should be more environmentally friendly.

using bicycles for transportation is only one part f it. by using a standard plastic milk crate

with few additional parts, you can build your own extra bike seat. doing so enables you to enjoy

a mutual riding experience, as well as carrying cargo on your bike when you need it.

'two-go' is designed for people who like to build their own things, for the average DIY consumer.

it is designed to only require basic tools, common joinery parts and other materials that can be

found in every DIY retail shops.'
