spanish designers eduardo tapiador polo, lucia mateo belda and leticia rodriguez ruano of dicrein have designed a portable lighting object called ‘nowire’. the product is on show as a part of ‘nude‘, a platform for new designers to show off their work at the feria valencia during this year’s valencia disseny week.

true to its name, the product lacks any wiring or extraneous components, making it completely versatile and transportable. light intensity and quality is easily controllable by clustering or dispersing the lights. the bottom of the lamp features a suction pad system which allows ‘nowire’ to be attached to any smooth surface. to recharge, ‘nowire’ uses its internal battery system and a powermat, a source of energy which uses induction charge technology.
