‘fucking with the sun’ by austrian creative motu christian steyrl is a mobile kit that allows users to literally have sex with the sun. featuring a built-in solar panel, transformer and voltmeter, the device utilizes the sun’s energy to power a cable-connected vibrator. also included in the kit is a tripod which can be used to prop up the machine at an optimal angle. the designer states that all components ‘fit neatly into a suitcase, making the tool easily portable’.

as there is no built in buffer memory, a passing cloud will temporarily disable the device but will continue working again as soon as it is directly under the sun.
