'filament lamps' by london based design studio scott, rich & victoria are meant to be a contemporary re-interpretation
of the handmade carbon filament lighting from the mid-nineteenth century. combining the modern with the traditional,
the cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) is encased by a hand-blown glass enclosure. there is also the filament 1840
that has a structured bulb and the filament 1880 which is free formed.
