now, ready to accompany 'sumi' is the 'tsuri' collection, whose theme is to capture the fading colors of autumn.

as a means of promoting the collection, onitsuka tiger came together with savants collective
to create a visual piece which showcases the 'tsuri' collection.

the piece captures essence of the collection, expressing the colors of autumn,
along with lake fishing in the mountains of japan. using a combination of mediums,
savants collective have distilled the meaning of the collection into this emotionally stirring,
visually captivating short film that mixes 2D and 3D animation with practical photography
and a handmade miniature set.

'tsuri' women's flannel shirt


the influences behind the 'tsuri' autumn-winter range are derived from lake fishing in the mountains.
this is reflected by carefully constructed items and specially selected materials. both the collection's
apparel and footwear feature a multicolor-checkered plaid, based on the 'katsuo' pattern which draws
from the gradient stripes on the belly of a tuna fish. the pattern's warm palette echoes the color explosion
seen in the trees of autumn.

traditional winter fabrics - cotton flannel and waxed cotton - are paired with zipp, 3D
or snap button closure pockets to add interest in the clothing.

the checkered plain pattern carries over into several models of the collection's footwear:
