'pablo's heart-01' (pb-01) by south korean artist rhea jeong (rhealistik) is a next generation electronic sampler
which experiment with sound through different mediums. the instrument elaborates the analogue characters
of existing instruments transcending them into the digital.

the process consists of playing sound samples with different functions such as the horn and
string unit, inside the instrument, instead of pressing buttons to trigger sound. the sensitive body
can be tapped and moved to amplify and transform the sound to different pitches and tunes.
the user can perform and play with these sounds in different ways, as creativity allows.

'pablo’s heart' is influenced by the form of the AK-16 gun that is a symbolic tool for destruction.
the idea was to shift our current image of the firearm into an idea of creation.
