'winter lights' holiday underwear collection by yves behar and fuseproject for PACT

yves behar and his san francisco-based design studio fuseproject have created a limited edition
holiday underwear collection for PACT, an intimate apparel producer with a social cause behind
each design. the 'winter lights' line is a collaborative effort with citizen effect and earthspark
for the 'lighting hope for haiti' program which aims to distribute solar-powered lamps to women
currently living in post-earthquake housing camps. these areas, often disconnected from the power grid,
are becoming increasingly dangerous for women to walk at night with rising incidents of rape and abuse.

the collection consists of three patterns which depict unfocused arrays of light which celebrate
the nostalgia and festiveness of the holiday times. made from organic cotton, there are three different
cuts for women (bikini, thong, boy shorts) and two for men (trunks and boxer briefs).
