FIDA, designed by patrick frey is a fully functional folding mat for use as seating on the go.

weighing only 2,7kg the blanket-like object easily transforms from a flat surface to sturdy, upright seating.
by securing the top two corners together with the fastening belt, a triangular fold creates a stable back rest.
FIDA's compact design folds up and transports easily and can also be used unfolded as a surface to spread out on.
the soft water repellent mat measures 172cm x 117cm x 1cm and is made out of PU foam covered in codura,
a durable outdoor fabric. upon its release the seat will be available in a variety of colors.

FIDA most recently on show at the interieur 2010 kortrijk and is scheduled to release in spring 2011.
