designed and edited by american artists gean moreno and ernesto oroza, this 20-page black-and-white tabloid was produced for design miami 2010. numbering 2000 copies, it marks the pair’s seventeenth work in their tabloid project.

contributors to this edition of the tabloid include curators hans ulrich obrist and catherine geel; designers martí guixé, jerszy seymour, andrea branzi, el ultimo grito, david enon, and kueng caputo; and scholars octavi rofes and jens thiel.

the tabloid format is both visually interesting and utilitarian, not only as a single object but also when disassembled for its pages. on one side of each sheet, patterns and images are printed, most of which are designed around elements in the exhibition. these are then used in the exhibition space as wallpaper tiles to designate particular exhibit sites.

the rest of the tabloid is devoted to interviews, calendars, and articles that take the exhibition as a point of departure from which to explore the artists, works, and ideas in greater depth and breadth.

interesting and communicative, while remaining eclectic and creative rather than purely informational, the goal of the tabloids is, as the artists state, ‘to introduce unexpected information into the contexts in which they are presented.’
