during the milan LED light festival 2010, italian architect luca trazzi designed a 22-meter-tower, made of solar cells and LEDs,
that absorbs sunlight by day and emits 16 million variations of colored light by night.
the project has been sponsored by AUDI, and the structure and materials of the LED display are perfectly attuned to the AUDI
philosophy, which emphasizes efficiency and aerodynamics. the trazzi tower is displayed in the most strategic part of milan:
piazza del castello, in the historic center of the city.
