recent graduate of bezalel academy of arts and design, tel aviv maia halter has created the ‘zim’ chair, a seat whose form is derived from fishing nets and the low position of crabs. the chair is made of a metal tubular frame with the supporting seat consisting of a metal mesh that is folded to create the seat’s form. its overlapping mesh pattern provides strength and support to the sitter’s back.
