bongyoel yang from korea has designed the 'boat sofa', a multi-functional furniture piece
that is simple in both its form and concept.

created for our 'global warming generation' the object can be used as a sofa and a boat.
ideal for flood prone areas, the furniture piece easily transforms - by removing the cushion,
a boat with oars is revealed below.






oars are stored underneath the cushion in the body of the boat



the sofa transforms into a boat by removing the cushion

the sofa also fully functions as a boat
