british designer, edward robinson has created 'ikebana' a series of vases
for petite friture which pay tribute to japanese flower arrangements
of the same name. the lacquered ceramic vases are available in three sizes:
large/ white, medium/ light grey and small/ dark grey in combination
with either lilac or magenta. contrasting materials and colors add interest
to the overall simplistic form.

the linear opening in the vase enables the user to arrange flowers
in a variety of ways including continuous lines or bunches.

the collection will be on show between january 21-25, 2011 at
maison et objet in paris, france.
