thelermont hupton: the farm

'the farm'
british studio thelermont hupton (yve thelermont and david hupton) have designed 'the farm',
a fun interpretation of a classic furniture object. featured in the shape of donkeys,
'the farm' is available as both a coffee table as well as a set of two trestles.
an object that sits halfway between contemporary art and industrial design,
the furniture pieces are made from solid ash wood.

@Darija Because traditionally donkeys are used to carry/hold stuff for people. Not really needed in western culture, so the form of a donkey being used to carry your office/desk /whatever is quite fitting.
I hope you can hang your crap off it's face.

this is 100% decoration and totally antifunctional. the heads stick out way too much. it is very likely one will hit them getting up. and depending on how hard you run into them you could actually get hurt and knock all your stuff off the table.
