dutch design team scholten + baijings have collaborated with danish
manufacturer hay to produce a line of geometric textiles for the home.
the collection, which is composed of carpets, bed linens and tea towels
was revealed at maison et objet 2011.
the tufted and hand stitched carpets, woven tea towels and silk screened
bed linens personify the bold identity the award winning studio is known for.
highly defined and graphically executed patterns span from soft pastels to
bright fluorescent hues to produce a diverse range of products. viewed merely
as a work in progress, additional colors and patterns are set to join the series
throughout the next year.
