podvaal: revolve watch
podvaal: revolve watch

the 'revolve' 3-bracelet watch by podvaal
the work of russian design studio podvaal, 'revolve' is a three-piece watch,
around whose rings the hours, minutes, and seconds are each independently displayed.
the three magnetic bracelets can be worn in any configuration.
at present exclusively a concept, the 'revolve' design is easily adapted to a range of materials and colours,
and can be solar powered, battery operated, or mechanic.

one ring displays the hour, the second the minutes, and the third the seconds

the design is easily adapted to different materials and colours, as in this tron-like model

love it i would deffently wear one all the time it looks great and makes a everyday need more fashionable and awesome
tiffany Mcdonald 02.16.11
another smart ass remark, this one's from me...did anyone else notice the scale of the wood grain veneer in relation to the watch? on a persons wrist the knots in the wood would be smaller than that of a leaf. which leads me to conclude that the diameter of this watch mock up, looks like it's that of an oil drum.
sassark 02.17.11
but if you do look closely the wood grain and knots are identical in each of the three mock ups .... make your own judgements - the concept is fantastic. Would definitely wear these. Hope they do take them to production.
lelliB 02.19.11
I'd buy these! They are elegant and interesting to look at. Make them. Make them.
