each of the tables have two components: a base made of ash and a loose tabletop made of porcelain, which can also be flipped and used as a tray. for bjørlykke, the project is an exploration in flexible furniture solutions. the compact set of tables that can be nestled into one another and used for different purposes: as a side-table next to a favorite chair, as a bedside table, or the top can be lifted off and taken onto the sofa. the common feature of all these uses is that they relate to informal and relaxed situations in the home.
