'industry' is an upholstered pendant lamp that is lightweight and collapsible.
created by swedish designer jonas wagell, it features a knock-down aluminium frame
with an attached nylon diffusor, similar to a photo studio soft box. the shade is one flat
piece whose two sides need to be zippered together to create the cone-like form.
the light measures 80 cm in width and weights approximately three kilograms and can be
outfitted with a standard 18 watt low-energy light bulb. its simple construction allows for
flat-packing and cost-efficient shipping.
